Courage For Success – By David Ibiyeomie

TOPIC: Courage For Success – By David Ibiyeomie

MESSAGE:

Joshua 1:8 (KJV) This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Success in life does not come by wishing, neither by waiting but by taking conscious steps towards success. Success cannot be inherited or transferred to another; success is individualistic. Your success is your responsibility.

God has given us the ability to succeed; created us to succeed but the size of your heart will determine your size on the earth. You cannot possess a lion’s heart and live like a chicken on earth. A feeble heart produces weak hands and weary knees. Many have lost their heritage in Christ through fear and lack of courage. They have failed to realize there is a place of comfort, joy and fulfilment awaiting them; but only courage can take them there. Courage is what you need to actualize your dreams.

Psalms 31:24 (KJV) Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.

Courage is an untiring and undefeatable attitude born out of determination. Courage is that spirit of faith that judges God faithful and declares that what He has promised, He is able to do and will definitely do. Courage is simply refusing to give up to fear. There is no challenge you cannot handle. Don’t surrender your ability to satanic intimidation. Be strong!

There are factors that enhance courage. They include:

Past victories and testimonies:Testimonies are powerful weapons for turning on the switch of courage.

Psalms 103:2 (KJV) Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

1 Samuel 17:37 (KJV) David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee.

Divine Presence:Your understanding of divine presence is very important in your quest for courage. The consciousness of His divine presence makes you stand up to any challenge without fear or doubt.

Deuteronomy 31:6 (KJV) Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

Direction: Direction means knowing and doing the will of God. You cannot take courageous steps on slippery ground. Once you secure direction, it stirs up courage.

Ecclesiastes 10:15 (KJV) The labour of the foolish wearieth every one of them, because he knoweth not how to go to the city.

Self-Worth: You must see yourself the way you are in Christ; not the way you are physically. Place yourself before the mirror of God’s word because the name you give to yourself is what others will call you. Until you rate yourself high, people will never rate you high.

1 John 4:4 (KJV) Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

Consciously apply these factors to enhance your courage and see yourself rise up to take your possession. Only those with a lion’s heart get a lion’s share. Your Father, the Almighty God is the Lion of the Tribe of Judah; so why should you act like a chicken? Can a lion give birth to a goat? Stop discussing about challenges and start confronting them courageously!

God bless you!
